About the author
I have always had a love for writing. I started many years ago as a teenager writing poetry and short stories. I never would have imagine that my first published book would be a children’s book. But here I am a new children’s book author. Before I started to write my children’s book I earned a degree in Early Childhood Care and Education at American Public University. My experience in this field has taught me the importance of social/emotional learning is to healthy childhood development and that stories, above all else, drive this learning.
I wrote The Adventures of Cornelius: Cornelius to the Rescue so that children can learn how important using their emotions are.
Imaginary play can be a very important part of a child’s development.
